- DPRC ScholarshipEach year the DPRC awards up to $1000 in scholarship money to a graduating high school senior. Last year, two candidates were awarded scholarship money. Applications must be turned in by July 4th. A winner will decided by August 1st and the money will be awarded at the August monthly meeting. Qualified applicants are required to: Be a child or grandchild of a DPRC club member in good standing. Be pursuing a post secondary education at an institution of higher learning. Have a 2.5 GPA as stated in official transcript. A complete application, including; A Personal statement of 50 words or less A Polished essay on a given 2nd Amendment topic – 500 words or less 2 recommendations of a 150 words or less- one from a professional in the education field, one a personal reference from a community or club member (not family members) Include a list of extra curricular activities, an interest or involvement in shooting sports is a plus, but not a requirement.
