How to Join the DPRC

General Information

Due to affliation and insurance requirements, all club members are required to be members of the National Rifle Association.

All members must be at least 18 years old.

All club members have the combination to the facility. Shooting hours are 08:00 am to dusk Monday through Saturday and 10:00 am to dusk on Sunday. Indoor activities may be scheduled in the club house in the evenings. Ranges are occasionally closed for scheduled club events such as work days or matches.

New members are accepted throughout the year.

Pistol and Rifle matches are open to members of the public and provide an excellent opportunity to see the club and its members in action.

Our National Rifle Association Club Number is C0571.

Our Civilian Marksmanship Program Affiliation Number is 36044.

Fees

Annual dues are $144 per year. This amount will be prorated on a monthly basis based upon the date the new member joins (if you join July 1st, you only pay 50% of the annual dues for that year).

Upon joining the club, there will be an initiation fee of $125.

Upon joining the Club, the new member must purchase a Capital Fees Certificate for $100. This Certificate may be sold back to the club should the member resign.

Annual dues may be reduced for activity that supports the club. No dues are charged to Club Officers or Match Directors. Other members may reduce their dues (up to $80) by working at the range on Work Days or by manning the club booth at local gun shows.

Once a club member, there are no additional charges to shoot. There are no charges to bring guests. Targets and frames are available at the ranges for member use.

In addition to the Regular membership, there are three other membership types:

  • Senior Member - $72 per year. For members who are 65 or older and have been a Regular member for five or more continuous years.
  • Family Member - $72 per year. For immediate family members (spouse, children, parents) of a current Regular Member. To qualify, Family Members must meet all the requirements (NRA member, orientation, election, etc.) of a Regular Member
  • Junior Member - $72 per year. For members who are 18 to 21 years of age.
